We Oppose the City Council Recall Effort

Top 5 Reasons You Should NOT Sign the Petition

  1. If this small group of people is successful, it will send a message that Sand Springs is CLOSED for business.
  2. The recall would replace the Mayor and the entire council at one time, leaving no experienced leaders guiding our community.
  3. The data center will be an economic boom for Sand Springs, bringing $18 to $19 million every year through taxes and fees that will fund better schools, salaries for teachers, police and firefighters as well as public amenities like parks and infrastructure like roads.
  4. This data center will pay so much in property taxes to our city and schools that it will lower the pressure to increase property taxes on those of us living here.
  5. If the recall is successful and the data center is not allowed, it will cost Sand Springs Schools more than six million dollars a year in new revenue.

Protect Our Stability. Protect Our Schools.

We are a group of Sand Springs citizens who believe in the promise of our community and the people who call it home. Our city has been shaped by leaders who have lived here, raised their families here, and served with integrity and dedication. We stand behind their vision for a stronger, more prosperous Sand Springs.

We support responsible growth that improves our schools, brings new jobs and provides revenue for the City. We have a chance to strengthen our local economy, expand our tax base, and ensure Sand Springs continues moving forward.

I've been an active volunteer for both business and charitable causes in our community, giving my time, my dollars and helping raised money to help make our community better.
